Brass Creek LLC was formally founded in 2016 by Aaron Westfall and Erin Hall-Westfall on a fundamental belief: transformative opportunities are rarely limited by the absence of ideas. More often, progress stalls because the necessary expertise, relationships, resources, and institutional commitment have not yet been brought together.

The project based consultancy helps close gaps working across philanthropy, capital markets, research, innovation, and organizational and institutional strategy. Brass Creek develops the connections and strategies required to move complex initiatives from compelling possibility to sustained commitment ultimately delivering impact.

Aaron Westfall has more than 25 years experience advising presidents, CEOs, boards, researchers, philanthropists, and institutional leaders around the world. His career has centered on consequential ambitions, from global scientific campaigns, venture philanthropy programs and interdisciplinary research initiatives to landmark investments in education and human potential.

Aaron brings an unusual ability to see how distinct interests can converge around a larger purpose. He understands how institutions make decisions, how influential relationships develop, and how visionary ideas earn the confidence and resources necessary to advance. Through Brass Creek, he applies that perspective to leaders and organizations prepared to pursue opportunities beyond the reach of conventional models.

“The greatest opportunity for humanity exists in established institutions and and interdisciplinary models enabled by aligning revenue streams and cross sector strategy. Progress begins when someone recognizes the connection across the horizontal and has the courage and fortitude to enable lasting change.”
